Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Role Summary:

Conducts standardized speech and language diagnostics, evaluates communication disorders, and designs targeted intervention strategies for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer formal diagnostic batteries (e.g., CELF-5, CASL-2) to assess receptive/expressive language, articulation, pragmatics, and voice.
Draft comprehensive evaluation reports integrating diagnostic metrics and educational impact statements.
Formulate measurable IEP/504 goal recommendations and attend facilitation meetings as a subject matter expert.

School/Clinical Psychologist

Role Summary:

Conducts cognitive, psychoeducational, and socio-emotional evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and clinical accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and interpret standardized cognitive and academic assessments (e.g., WISC-V, WJ-V, DAS-II) and rating scales (BASC-3, BRIEF-2).
Synthesize complex diagnostic data into clear clinical profiles detailing cognitive strengths, processing deficits, and academic implications.
Participate in multi-disciplinary team consultations to advise on behavioral and instructional modifications.

Occupational Therapist (OT)

Role Summary:

Assesses fine motor, sensory processing, and visual-spatial skill development to facilitate student independence in school environment settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate fine motor integration, sensory processing patterns, visual-motor skills, and daily living function using standardized tools (e.g., Beery VMI, SPM-2).
Develop functional goals targeting handwriting, sensory regulation strategies, and environmental accommodations.
Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and ergonomic modifications tailored to student profiles.

Clinical/School Social Worker (LCSW / SSW)

Role Summary:

Assesses psychosocial stressors, family dynamics, and socio-emotional barriers to learning while connecting families with community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychosocial evaluations, adaptive behavior assessments (e.g., ABAS-3, Vineland-3), and functional assessments of home/school environments.
Draft actionable socio-emotional support plans and coordinate wrap-around services for high-needs cases.
Provide specialized facilitation and case management support during high-conflict or complex transition planning sessions.
